Sunwin has been represented in the UAE by, Swaidan Trading, part of Al Naboodah Group Enterprises, since 2013, a partnership which has achieved significant success for the brand, building the Emirates into its biggest market outside of China accounting for 35% of all Sunwin’s sales globally.
Shanghai Sunwin Bus Corporation is a 50:50 joint venture between SAIC Motor, China’s biggest vehicle manufacturer, and respected Swedish automaker Volvo. With a workforce of over 1,200 employees and a manufacturing facility of 140m2 square metres in Shanghai, China, Sunwin has an annual production capacity of 2,500 city and commuter buses, as well as 500 chassis units.
Sunwin manufactures high quality coaches and city buses varying from 8.5m to 12m in length. Sunwin public transport buses are offered with a range of powertrains including diesel, compressed natural gas, hybrid, electric, fuel cell and super capacitor.
