The Partner is powered by the ZD30 Turbo intercooled Common Rail diesel engine, which guarantees competitive fuel-efficiency and improved turnaround time. The engine is combined with a 5-speed fully-synchromesh gearbox and overdrive function, to deliver a flat torque over a wide rpm range – best for city driving. The gear shifts are smoother and the linear power delivery of the engine makes for fewer shifts.
The Partner offers performance and efficiency on a par with global standards. With a modern, ergonomic cab, spacious interiors, and a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 6500kg, the Partner is suitable for a wide range of applications, including parcel goods, durables, perishables and FMCG products, among others. The tilt-able cabin and low loading platform height enable easy service accessibility, customisation and a wide choice of load body options.
Not only does the next-generation Partner offer superior mileage and performance, but also enhanced driver safety and comfort. The cabin is modern and comfortable, with air-conditioning (HVAC) options. Ergonomic interiors include a dual-tone dashboard, moulded roof, door trims, adjustable power steering and driver’s seat, windshield defogger, a lockable glove compartment, and a 3-point seat belt. The parabolic front suspension and semi-elliptical rear suspension, along with double-acting shock absorbers on both the axles, make the ride comfortable for the driver, irrespective of the road surface conditions.
